I am travelling to the USA this summer for a friends stag party. However I have a conviction from August this year for harrasment. Pleaded not guilty not was found guilty and was given community service.

I have read I will need to apply for a Visa and there is a good chance the application will be rejected. I have also read it is impossible for immigration to check my criminal record when I arrive in the USA. Is it worth the risk to just go and hope for the best, if I do what are the chances of me being denied entry?

why dident you read all the hundreds of other posts about this before you posted your question, all your answers would have been there for you.
perhaps because they're impossible to find with AB's search engine. Basically, you only have to admit to crimes involving moral turpitude or I think drug use. I don't think your offence counts as either one. So just fill out the green visa waiver form they give you on the plane and tick 'no' to the question about criminal records. Make sure all your documents are in order and there are no letters referring to your conviction in your luggage, because you might get searched (can happen to anyone).
If it was sexual harrassment or stalking then it is moral turpitude.

But they can't check your criminal record on entry - they have to go on what you tell them or they can winkle out of you.
I'm here with a criminal record for minor stuff PLUS I have a caution for harrasment. I'm currently in San Francisco for 3 months from England.

The harrasment was last summer but the other stuff is pretty much 'spent' in the UK.

Go for it and 'forget' you were arrested. It does work and I am living proof.

Have nice flight :)
