If anyone crashes in to the car in front it is their own fault regardless of why the car in front slowed down or stopped, so in effect you caused the accident and I don't think you can sue yourself.
There are circumstances where a crash can be the fault of the car that was hit from behind (I was in an accident where a car pulled out very close in front of me and then jammed on their brakes), but in normal circumstances it is usually the fault of the car behind - so how can you sue for something that is your fault.
Take yourself to court and see how much you can get off yourself.
