i have i belive to be a medal in bronze its marked with King george v and Queen mary
cowned 22 june 1911 on the reverse side
it has Borough of Bromley june 22 1911
with a port culis with dum cresco spero
can any one help many thanks mike

Numismatists (coin and medal experts) would classify this as a medal, since the word "coin" is normally associated with a piece which is or was used as currency and generally accepted as legal tender in the country of issue.

Your item is clearly a commemorative piece issued by the local borough (probably given as a gift or prize or perhaps issued to local schoolchildren) on the occasion of that coronation.
well the meaning of dum cresco spero means "while i grow i hope" it is the motto for Bromley first used in 1904
