Many things have happened in the world over the past 100 years. We have seen the fulfillment of Bible prophecies, including COVID-19, whether people believe them or not. The Bible tells us that the near the end, will be the fall of religion. Because for what use they are, they might as well be done away with! Modern-day religions have perpetuated many of ancient Babylon’s doctrines. Hence, the world empire of false religion is well named Babylon the Great. (Revelation 17:5)

No. Sadly, the fall of religions is yet to come... but I think we'll get there.

I believe in truth. Facts not opinions.
With regard to your beliefs you don't have any facts. Wishful thinking isn't truth.
You're now claiming that Covid 19 was a biblical prophecy ? Not the previous pandemics then ? Or one to come ? Perhaps it's time to give this world doom prophecy stuff up, it's clearly nonsense, just pattern matching wherever it suits.
Naomi, pay attention to the subject of the thread.
Deal with my beliefs later.
OG - Am I?
You trying to put thoughts in my head?
Or mind reading and getting it wrong?
Neither. The response is to the OP, but if you think it fits you too, be my guest.
Theland, I've addressed the subject of the thread. You told me I'm arrogant. Funny that really, considering you, and not I, claim to know it all.
I state facts not opinions.
You don't state facts, Theland. Facts require irrefutable evidence to support them. You have none.
\\ I state facts not opinions.//
That is not a fact only your opinion.
OK.
In my opinion I state facts.
How's that?
Happy now?
In that case you are demonstrably in error.
\\ OK.
In my opinion I state facts.//
A meaningless reply.
Please Naomi, the weather is bad, one of my cats is sick, and the day is young, so be friendly, it will give me a lift.
(By the way, the prophecies are easy to test. Check the bible against history. No opinions necessary.)
I’ve checked the bible - and I’ve checked history. You try it.

Now for all atheists and all those that don’t believe the Bible, and all the calamities and terrible things that have taken place in this earth most people view things from the human standpoint, and for that reason attach too much importance to man. But from God’s standpoint, we must first grow in our knowledge of him. We need to understand what he approves or disapproves, and why. This calls for careful study of the Scriptures. Then we must live in harmony with accurate knowledge.

From the time that Babylon began under Nimrod, there is very little of it that you cannot trace back to false religion with its misrepresentation of God, its breaking up of unity among men by means of race, national and religious divisions, alliances with politics and suchlike activities. Therefore, God is speaking very factually when he says: “Yes, in her was found the blood of prophets and of holy ones and of all those who have been slaughtered on the earth.”—Rev. 18:24.
I think religions have not fallen (yet). I do however believe that we are in the early stages of the end times (the “birth pangs” the bible speaks about). I believe covid is one SMALL part of this all. I believe things will get so much very much worse First tho. Did you know there has been a coin specially minted to facilitate the building of the 3rd temple? Interesting as that must come to pass as part of the prophecy
Naomi, you must have missed something then.
My bible is congruent with history.
Is yours not?
Goodlife, //most people view things from the human standpoint, and for that reason attach too much importance to man. But from God’s standpoint, we must first grow in our knowledge of him. //

You know what God's standpoint is? What arrogant nonsense. You'll be telling us next you have a unique hotline!
My bible is the same as yours, Theland but not being prone to wishful thinking I don't make it up to suit.
