If Tommy Robinson was so concerned about child grooming, then why isn't he and his boys protesting against Prince Andrew and his connection to child groomer Jeffrey Epstein?

It is, Jack, but "child grooming" implies "children.

"Probably because there's no evidence that he's broken any laws"

That is not true.

"The law says that a 16- or 17-year-old can consent to sexual activities. But it is still a crime to take part in sexual activities with a 16- or 17-year-old if these elements are proved: The person accused of the crime was in a position of authority or trust toward the young person."

Prince Andrew, allegedly had sexual relations with a 17 year old on more than one occasion. She said so herself.

Prince Andrew was in a position of authority and trust toward the young person.
I know I shouldn't ask this, but I can't resist. Is TheDevil really spath ??
Has to be.... I'm sure all will become clear x
Question Author
I find that answer quite objectionable.

What do you mean by the term "spath"?

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Spath
I know.
'TheDevil' regards Epstein as a 'child-groomer' and I believe (not for the first time) that his words are ill-chosen.
These young women were not 'children', which is not saying that I condone the actions of Epstein nor his procuratrix, Maxwell.
TheDevil - Not all instances of inappropriate sexual behaviour or coercion are comparable.
I'm sure it will pixie x
Now you've got me thinking. You might have hit the nail on the head.
//Prince Andrew, allegedly had sexual relations with a 17 year old on more than one occasion. She said so herself.///

He says he didn't.

//Prince Andrew was in a position of authority and trust toward the young person. ///

He wasn't. They were, allegedly, at a party.

Jackthehat - "his words are ill-chosen"

I am not one to victim shame. I believe people who speak out against abuse.

Jackthehat - "He wasn't. They were, allegedly, at a party."

The Duke of York is part of the United Kingdom's peerage. I would expect that puts him in a position of both trust an authority.
Yes.
Epstein was a sexual predator of post-pubescent girls?
*Not* a paedophile, then....
///The Duke of York is part of the United Kingdom's peerage. I would expect that puts him in a position of both trust an authority. //

That's the trouble......it's your (erroneous) expectation....
Is your post about Epstein or Prince Andrew? We all seem to be discussing different things.
... or Tommy Robinson? Another trip around the houses.
Question Author
Jackthehat - "*Not* a paedophile, then...."

I've not even mentioned the word in relation to any of the men in discussion.
some accusers have been younger than seventeen..
Question Author
This chat room is quite fast-paced. I am struggling to answer everybody.
Excellent.
So we can now be sure it won't be mentioned in future.
So, as mentioned above; is this about Tommy Robinson, Epstein or Prince Andrew?
Thedevil, could you please just tell me the difference, in your view, between "child groomer" and "paedophile"?
I know you dislike "terminology", but it is helpful if we can all understand each other.
