so if i host on airbnb and i do not want any muslim staying in my house then that is against their policy .

so, the question is , if your a host on airbnb would you accomodate a young muslim man or a woman in a burhka ?

It is as distasteful now to advertise a room with a 'No Muslims' sign as it was in the 60s and 70s to advertise a room with a 'No Irish, No N*****s, No Dogs' sign.

The big difference now is that it is illegal to do so.

yes, deefinitely, a better bet than your average British drunk. And if you won't take them, you can't join up with Airbnb; but you can probably still be an old-fashioned seaside landlady if you want, as long as you don't have any "No dogs or Irish" signs in your window..

^probably not many but why does it matter? Airbnb provides a service for people who want cheap accommodation. If you don`t want a cheap room then don`t use it. Simple.

A good friend of mine has used AirBnB in many countries without a problem but only rented the whole house or apartment. She rents hers out whilst she is a away and so far it has worked out very well.

treating everyone with respect doesnt seem like too big an ask to me. I would prefer to book holidays and rooms hoping that i wouldn't be abused or disrespected by the person who was the letter
