Turfing out what must be the country's worst managed freezer regime this evening, I noticed a layer of snow-like ice flakes on everything in the top drawer.

It's a 2/3 year old Baumatic 3 drawer undercounter model and everything in it looks ok. There's no temperature gauge as such, just a 1-4 regulatory dial, which has now been moved from 2 to 1. What's going on?
