I am a final year Social Work student in Dublin, currently carrying out an assignment on Irish after-care provision for young adults leaving the care of th e state. I want to make an international comparison and would like to know if anyone had any experience of leaving foster or residential care in the U.K and inform me of the supports and services they received following their 18th birthday?
