It seems last night someone tried to get in my garage - they got a suitcase of clothes all new but size 10 (I will get into them one day) opened the case and left it on the patio !!!!!

Of course the lackland son had left the gate open when he parked his car down the drive!
And I'm not insured - I can laugh now but .........

There's some right scumballs about these days. We've been burgled that many times we have CCTV now. 6 convictions so far so the CCTV is helping keeping scrotes off the streets. The police have said that our system setup is better than that of our local Natwest and HSBC. Nothing satisfies me more than seeing the bastards getting locked up.
well if ya gate wasn't so flimsy....

How dare you Boo
If my son had closed that gate......

I reckon it was yesterday afternoon ,
when your Gates were missing for a while!
Better contact those guys with the KKK kid.
We think our house and garden and garage are now quite secure since we had a few attempts in the past but Im sure, in this day and age, if they want to get in they will do somehow !
The police reckon its something we have to live with but why should we let someone else take something weve worked hard to buy !!
Be very weary as my experience with thieves and burglars is that if they had an easy access they always come back hoping that something more valuable might be there now.

My garage wasn't lock as I can't lock
I guess I am asking for it really

And now I am insured
That's how the insurance companies get you :)
why can't you fit a lock to it? I would!
If you cant lock or fit a lock, how about fitting a wind chime or similar so that it sounds whenever the door is opened and you will hear it in the night and also might deter the would be burglars when they set it off
Question Author
Oh Boxy the door is knacked - I really need a new one fitting
I have been interviewed twice already by the police and they are on to it I think
My son is on his holidays next week so I will be alone - trying not to make a big deal about it though

Do most people put the alarm on when they go to bed?
I only put it on when I am going out
Question Author
TOH - I can't fit a wind chime after all the cussing I do about the neighbours
I sleep with the window wide open even in winter - and its windy where I am
it's infuriating i know but i'm puzzled why they didn't just leg it with the suitcase
I meant a windchime inside the garge or shed. It wouldnt sound until the door was opened.

Perhaps they did not fancy my clothes

No hoodies in there
gravel, best deterant there is
Why not just use mans best friend?

A semi automatic and a rocket launcher.

Sorry that wasn't very good advice. Use a sniper instead.
I don't have an alarm, just damned good locks on all the doors and windows. I wouldn't put the alarm on when I went to bed, wouldn't moving about set it off?
boxtops: You just omit the PIR's and the doors you're going to be opening throughout the night. Unless you like to randomly walk around outside in the night through the front, back or even side door then an alarm is rather handy.

Or were you being sarcastic? :)
