Yonk, What Measure Of Time Unit?

Hi all, if someone says I've not heard this for yonk's, as an EG. what measure of time is a yonk? nano second, minute, hour, day, month, year? any help appreciated.

Yonkers or Younkers was reference to young boys aboard ships in the days of full sailed vessels. The word yonks was then used to refer back to the days when one was a yonker. It certainly is a very very long time in my case.
