Does anyone know if the Wag and Bone Show is on anymore? A google search tends to suggest that it was hit by the credit crunch and is no more.

If so, I was wondering if there were any other similar events on in its place?

Thanks.

Where do you live - I can look for smaller events in your area.
Lots of events listed here too: http://www.discoverdogs.org.uk/scruffts

Thanks lankeela.
The discover dogs link showed me that there is an event in Belfast (my hometown) on 4th June.
However we have a campervan so we might also visit the Paws in the Park show in Kent for an overnight!
Very excited!
Lucky you - its my dream to have a camper van and just travel round with my dogs.
Belfast have a championship dog show in September - thought you may be interested: http://belfastdogshowsociety.org/?page_id=304
No is was cancelled in 2009 due to the credit crunch and has never taken place since ?

Thanks for the dog show society link too lankeela but that isn't so much what I'm after. I've 2 scruffy wee terriers mutty mongrels who might be slightly out of place at an event like that!
I need a show where non breed standard is celebrated!!

Thanks for all your help.
Just to say that we went to Paws in the Park, Kent, for the first time last year. It was wonderful - a really special day out with so much to see and do for 2 legged and 4 legged creatures!

We are in Northern Ireland anniebar so Kent would be a bit of a jaunt but I'll look into it some more. They have camping facilities so I'm very tempted!
