I find it difficult to admire the Queen. All her life she has been looked after to the highest possible standards in all areas, she has done a good job but so have millions of other people, she does not know what it is to be in a queue, wait for service or worry if her children will find a job. She has people to arrange the smallest details in her trips and plenty of people to fawn over her. I believe a person doing a job they may dislike to maintain a family because it is their duty is more deserving.

I know if we had a President they would receive all the advantages now afforded to the Queen but at least we could change them every few years.

I've nothing against the Queen or any of the royals but I don't see that they do anything to be admired for really.

Aren't they a comic duo?
I'm "tits up" laughing at boxie's comment - //The Queen has her bras made to measure by Rigby and Peller//

Who makes her panties then?

The fact on QE2's bras must be the trivial fact of the weekend.
She has been there all my life and I think she does a wonderful job.

I can never understand why people are so keen for a Republic. It's not as though she makes any laws or runs our country.

Our Monarchy is a great "plus" for our economy via tourism etc. It's what being British is all about.

Do you think Phil, the Duck of Ed, prefers her in an underwired bra, or soft one, then should it ve full cup, balconnet or just a very light support from underneath. And what about a corset, basque, or suspender belt?

This conversation is getting out of hand. She's a lovely old lady who doesn't deserve to be talked about in this way. Shame on you lot.
She always appears to have a large embonpoint to me (and she's only short too, don't forget) but she does dress to suit her figure and her age.
To the Tower with us, Chrissa, then.....a chance to nick a diamond or two.

She's out the of the country though so I don't think she is on AB. Her "avatar" wasn't Mollie was it?

Who resembles her in character the most then? - My nomination Lottie
Defo DT. Off with your head.
who went to the Tower there?
who has had their head off, execution the Ed?
Since royalty is an anachronism, that no longer has purpose, then it is difficult to admire the queen, although I've no reason to think she isn't a reasonable individual. As for comments about a president, that has no function either. We elect a government, anyone else are just hangers-on.
