A few minutes ago I purchased 'on-line' a book.. The last Chronicles of Barchester.

I know that it is regarded as a 'classic' and was written by Anthony Trollope. However, my e/mail acknowledgement of purchase suggests that the authors are Anthony Trollope and Sophie Gilm.

No doubt the book will be delivered in a few days and I'll then have the answer. So perhaps my question is somewhat premature. Nevertheless, I thought it worthwhile posting in AB because I have never heard of the lady concerned as being associated with Trollope; whereas other ABers may know otherwise.

sandyRoe...I am thinking your suggestion could well be the case because scotman's link has provided me with the full name which is Sophie Gilmartin. Consequently, I have now found the following further link:-
