We had it easy naming decades for many years last century 50s, 70s, 90s etc. Then came the millenium and someone came up with the Noughties. However I haven't really come across a widely used term to describe this decade, other than for some reason the term Teenies is in my knocking about somewhere. Anyone come across any more?

I heard "tens and Teens"
this decade will be referred to as the tens in the future as is the case with the 1910s.
The 2nd great depression shoul do it i thinks,
the twenty tens
The Tenties ? Seems like a modern day term (all my own work)

Ankou, the twenty tens might get people mixed up with the forthcoming 20s and ditto to Man, the tenties sounds to much like the 20s.
ok what about the twenty tenties, that should make the time more defined for anybody.
I would also go for I Don`s 10`s
or the Twenty/10`s
Sh1te would seem to fit.
Chuck that's the second time we've agreed tonight!
I would say the Tens, as 1910 becomes known as such, not the Tens, just like we do/did with other decades last century.
Question Author
The Tens just doesn't cut it wildwood. Someone needs to come up with something cooler than that as we can't be copying what they did 100 years ago.
"now"
flob how did they describe the period 1810-1819
Question Author
Old timey times, I think?
