even half an inch is too broad for rainfall unless you're in the jungle. I had mm marked on my rulers when I was at primary school; didn't you? It's a much more sensible measure of rain.
Sorrry ayg I made atypo, jno it just annoys me I cant help it

two bus journeys different days, two women, one said something about the other having a wetcoat and it was dripping on her, the other made a comment back, and so forth for 20 minutes, language was unpleasant, second journey, two women, one got on with buggy, other got on with larger pram, both tried to jam said items in space where wheelchairs go, an argument ensues, goes on for 40 minutes, like a bad tennis match. This is an everyday occurence, i don't know whats wrong with some people.
jno our generation was taught measurements in feet and inches pounds and ounces, all imperial measures etc, etc. It is annoying when some idiot measures out your curtaining in feet and inches, and then measures out the heading in centimeters.

shop assistants who say have a nice day, but are looking like they wish they could be someplace else, then throw the change at you and expect you to scrabble after it as it rolls off the conveyor belt. Rearranging the store each week, so you never know where anything is.
m10 I read it in a Daily paper this morning about how yobbish behaviour seems to be the norm nowadays. The men fighting by the Grandstand at Ascot and tattooed women being drunk and disorderly. There seems to be little respect for anyone now.
Liars AA. ha ha ha.
Shop assistants who say "there you go"
MM. are you accusing me of being a liar ?

AYG, love your picture, not everyone has bad manners, but it is getting worse. The aggression you get from some, in the most innocent of circumstances. Bad service in restaurants, often equally bad food.
In a word in some of your posts yes.
MM, would you like to post the evidence you have to show i am a liar ?
2.5cm is an inch, I've known that since I was five - like I say, it was on rulers. Nobody had to teach me. Come on, people, cope!

Any time an assistant has accidentally let change roll away he/she has tried to get it back. I've never heard anyone arguing on buses. I must lead a sheltered life, here with only 8 million people around me.
I am not about to trawl your posts, but others know too.
I'm with maidup on the "what was your name" thing - I want to say "how far back do you want to go?" Same as "pop your pin number in for me" - no, I'll do it for me, thank you.
