There many things you can live without, however most of those things that you could do without you wouldn't want to.

To survive you need shelter, heat and food after that EVERYTHING is a luxury.

However in the modern world and keeping our life styles you could do without Car, Computer, probably TV, any mobile gadget, any games console.

But you must keep the pub.

Potato ricer. My mum persuaded my dad to buy one in 1939. It's still around somewhere. According to my dad, my mum used it twice.
