My Grandson aged 9 is a bit of a brainbox. I am trying to find something for him for Christmas that will assist in his natural bents.
He has a curiosity for the stars, fossils, and electrical things and is rather good at fixing things!! I have seen him do 2 jigsaws at one time. Last week he solved a puzzle that had an Aerospace engineer baffled all day in less than 5 mins. He also spends hours upon hours inventing as he calls it, things with his lego with gears and winches that really work. Most leaves me completely baffled. I have got him a microscope for his birthday which he loves. But I am now thinking of something for Christmas and am completely stumped. Any suggestions of books or shops that may assist would be appreciated very much.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks everyone. He has a scope and binos. The Jodrell Banks idea sounds worth a look at. Cheers again.

It seems to be out of stock on most sites, so looks like it's popular.
I've seen one of these kits in action and was very impressed, there are lots of projects in that box though it is pricey.
