I always moisturise my face and neck morning & evening using Olay. I normally use it around my eyes as well but a friend told me she had read somewhere that you should use one just for eyes. What are your views on this?

The skin round your eyes is a lot more delicate than the skin on your face, I would agree about using a specific eye cream to look after the skin
I spent s on 'the best' creams & potions throughout my life. Dutifully applying in the quest for perfect, wrinkle-free, youthful skin. If asked you might age me 10y younger 'cause I dye my hair but you will still know I have a bus pass.

How did generations of women manage without specialist creams and still look fab?? My mum has used Oil of Ulay (as it was known) for years and is in her 60's and looks fab! I do use a YSL cream on my eyes but only because it compliments the Touche Eclat that I use but if I'm not wearing make-up I don't bother with it. Each to their own, but I dont think they are essential. x

You should not use moisturiser on the soft skin under your eyes. This area will absorb the liquid quickly and be retained so making the skin under the eyes pufffy. Don't apply it higher than the cheek bones and use an eye cream.
