I am going to Iceland in March 2009 ( leaving the UK 8th) and the weather sites that I have looked on about the climet shows the 'wet days' on avarage but I know that rain and snow are both classed as 'wet days'. Anyone any idea on what the avarage days are in rain and in snow. Hope that makes sence.
Thanks

You are much more likely to encounter rain than snow, although it could snow - the weather is as unpredictable as in the UK, only more so.

Within a few kilometres of the shoreline the influence of the sea keeps the temperature around zero. Inland is just cold and frozen.
