It's perfectly possible, although it is not possible to identify which one it is without more information. There are 659 Members of Parliament, of which 165 are in the Conservative Party. Each one represents a constituency, which is just the name of the area which they represent (like a Congressional District). Do you know his name, or the name of his constituency?
You could try this link http://www.parliament.uk/directories/hciolists/alms.cfm This will give you all the names of the current members of Pariament and tells you which party they represent and where their constituency is. Perhaps one might look familier.
If he was 'full of it', then he probably was an MP!
If they used the term 'Con Party' then they are lying. The conservative party is commonly called ther 'Tory' party. Nobody ever says Con Party
Nobody ever says Con Party Perhaps they should - seems quite appropriate :O)

well, i don't see his name on the list. but the only name i am sure of is nick. i believe his last name is meacham, but i could be wrong. he is a young man (28, i think) and has an arm handicap. maybe someone's heard of him.??
Check on the Conservative Party listing, here: http://www.parliament.uk/directories/hcio/party.cfm#Con There are a couple of Nicks and Nicholases, but no Meachams.

i don't see his name anywhere. would anyone be familiar with his description???
Not sure whether it's the same person, probably not. But Jeremy Middleton was the conservative party cnadidate at the recent by-election in Hartlepool. The reason I think it may be him is he is fairly young and and there is something wrong with his arm, like he has a withered hand. Incidentally, he lost the election and came fourth, one of the worst defeats for the Conservative party for decades.
