I read recently that there were some early Swiss Protestants, in the 16th/17th century, who were so strict and hardline that they used to hang their own children for things like disobedience. I am fascinated by this and would love to find out more. If anyone has any more details on this - eg the name(s) of the group(s) of Prosetants in question, or any books on the subject, I would be very grateful.
