Ok,this is my very last question on the subject. I had planned to do a 3 month College taster in Bricklaying, but, there were'nt enough takers. So I looked around and found everything else was'nt avaliable until Sept'04. Sod that! There must be an easier way? Nope. I hoped the Goverment would provide intensive courses,No. I feel I should be able to learn the basics and work on-site ,with more experienced collegues for 6 months, not 5 yrs for any discipline ex. plumbing, carpentry and electrician. Any thoughts?

The only quick way is to do something immediately that will get you a custodial sentence of more than six months. Once inside you are then eligible for a trade course.
Maude, that is one of the best, but, sadly most truthful answers I have seen on here for a long while.
