Not what you asked but don't go to Sorastores (i think thats the spelling) which is just off covent garden. It has a reputation which I'm sure most of the time is great but we had a christmas meal there one year and it was really small and not worth the money. I think thats a symptom of most christmas dinners but this was particularly disappointing. Maxwells which is a TexMex near covent garden tube is pretty good.
Christophe's at Convet Garden - sort of steak (very good)mainly. Quite pricey but we went there Christmas time last year (week before xmas) and they were very tolerant of us getting hammered and singing enthusiatisically. Quite pricey though. Lovely mushrooms!
