Im asking this question on behalf of my Grandad (he's 84 ) Is there still a pub in Midherst (Sussex) called the Spread Eagle....i know its a long shot but he would love to know.....thanx ppl ;0)

The Spread Eagle Hotel in Midhurst. A coaching inn dating from 1430. Elizabeth I is said to have visited it while staying at Cowdray House, and Edward VII stayed at the inn at the turn of the present century. Tis still there!
