My (spanish) girlfriend says:
Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos. (Party of the Moors and the Christians) Many towns in Valencia province and other provinces as well all do this every year. Alcoy's is very famous. Perhaps this is the one?
The first one that came to mind for me was the Oberramagau Passion Play that's performed ever year, although that's in Germany.
Any help?
