Just wondering how all you answerbankers choose your names? I know some of them are more obvious than others but some I have no idea :o) x

I used it as a pseudonym at University and it's stuck ever since..... (dunno what made me choose it then - i was young, foolish...)
ps. Wee Kaz?
Simply my initials then the answer to Life the Universe and Everything tagged on at the end....or the number of one of my fav bands Level 42......or my house number.
been my nickname forever. It's really beenie, but I think on the day I registered here, I was feeling particularly beeeeneeeeeeee..... ahem.
My usual pseudonym is Pambi (Chosen for me by the IT department at work!) I decided to be more grown up for Answerbank and just use the Pam bit of my name but AB kindly gave me a prefix and I decided to stick with it rather than work out how to change it. I only resemble a block of wood after a hard 9-5 at the funfactory that pays my wages - honest!
Heard them say Mintox was a old Oz saying for something great on the Radio ages ago...and used it ever since
Its what my girlfriend calls me! Highly original eh!?
John E "2 buttons" Walthamstow Ta Daa
initials+birthdate. boring eh?
I wanted to use the name "Diogenes Small" (fans of Colin Dexter's "Inspector Morse" novels - as opposed to the TV series - would get the reference) but it was too long for this !@?* thing so I stuck with plain old Diogenes. But then I am quite a cynic so it's still appropriate.
My parents gifted me the full version - I hate 'Andrew' so any one who knows me at all uses Andy. My wife has never ever ever called me Andrew, no matter how annoyed she has been, and I can't imagine she ever would. That's not cue for you all to start by the way!
Short
named Katherine Sara by my parents, known as Katie to my friends, and ab wouldn't let me just be Katie so added the Sara bit!!
It's what my university gave me as my username and now, because I can never find a name for email servers, I just use it for everything...Which is a shame, because I'd love people to think it's some mysterious map, numbered "08"! What treasures could map number 8 unfold? But sadly, no... (By the way, map is my initials)
A puli is a breed of Hungarian sheepdog of unmistakeable appearance. The coat naturally forms into long 'dreadlocks'. Mine is called Fred. I thought his name could bear the notoriety better than mine.
Just bits of my name scrunched together which I like the sound of.

Darth vader, Wee Kaz is Kaz coz my name is Karen and wee coz I'm only 5ft!
I chose mine as it was the title of an old Clint Eastwood film in which he played a country singer, and I also play boogie/blues/jazz piano, so it seemed to fit :)
I picked it because it was the name of caligulas pet horse, which he made a senator, then a consul. The reasons are complex but have to do with an isp having had all the good classical references taken, and combining a knowledge of tacitus with a suggestion from my girlfreind.... "horseboy" sounds so undignified!
I'm a big fan of 'The Sweeney', also classic 70's cars, so it could only be FordGranada1.
