Decent AND cheap are a rarity in London. Decent implies appropriately inflated cost, and cheap implies knocking shop or flea pit.

Londons West End is a fairly big place and there are lots and lost of hotels, so you need to be a bit more specific. Is there a particular area or tube stop you need to be near?

If you just want a cheap, clean place to stay a night in west London, have a look at easyhotel. But google for reviews first; cheap and clean, but also small, sparse and orange - and you should book in advance to get best prices.
