You could go to Jamaica and get married over there, then stay there. The weather is much better, so I am told.

So he's here illegally? totally agree with shammydodger.

Sorry i was meant to say started last year 2005 and expires 2006

well what the problem then? if he is, as you suddenly now claim still here legally just get married - problem solved.

though if the situation is that he has been here illegally for a year and getting married will draw attention to his status and he may be deported, then i would do as shammy said.

you could contact the immigration and ask what the situation is - anonymously

Can you get it so wrong on your first post?

expired/expires last/this 2005/2006

Sounds iffy to me!!

If you were meant to say....... Who is pulling your strings??

Take shammy's advice.

Are you sure it is not your visa that has run out and are just looking for a way to stay so you can claim all your free money.

like the others say why not go back to jamaica..oh sorry you don't get free health care, benefits, housing........and on and on........

You should get maried in the UK before his visa expires and he can then apply for a spouses visa, after 2 years in the uk on the sppouses visa he can apply for permenant residence and after a further year he can apply for British Citizenship.
