Try Googling for 'mondegreens' and you will find a lot of similar stuff (including an explanation of the word!)
for years I thought the Police were singing about the BBC newsreader "Sue Lawley" then I discovered it really "so lonely" also in message in a bottle I could swear that Sting said "its been 3 years since I broke my nose" instead of "wrote my note"
There's a current one where the singer warbles on about her boy friend who apparently lives in 'Sunny Leigh-on-Sea'

What about Sharikra

I was sat in traffic with an ex when Freak Out came on the radio, instead of singing Aaaahh Freak Out my French ex sang Arifa in a fantastic French accent, it was so funny I nearly cried laughing. I cant listen to the song now without chuckling.

My fave is in Like a Prayer when Madonna sings "Let the choir sing" i always thought she was singing "Level Crossing"

My Grandad told me that he had heard a dirty song on the radio and it was called 'You can have my hole again'. I shortly after realised that he meant 'Whole Again' by Atomic Kitten.

A lady I know convinced her daughter that the Spice Girl's sing "If you wanna be my brother..."

She thought the original was too racey for kids.

i used to make my mate laugh singing "street Lights" instead of street life. also,..... la isla bonita, madonna, "young girl with eyes like potatoes"...

Oh you guys, I'm honestly crying with laughter here, brilliant, I thought I was the only one who got words wrong, my eyes are sore reading these, bring me more please!!!!!! Absolutely fantastic quest' kazminx, well done!
