does anyone know how to locate a copy of a german birth certificate? or find the information held on it?



i am doing my family tree and have discovered a young relative, one parent unknown. he was born arounf 1996/1997 if this helps, and i have one parents name.



have tried to google, but my german aint great. any uk sites, or government pages we can see?

They are really great at trying to sort out genealogy problems. You have to join but it doesn't cost anything. They are a mine of information, and I am sure someone will be able to help you. They are just as helpful and friendly as the aBers here! Good luck with your hunt!
