Phoning the Philippines

Hi. Does anyone know of any cheap ways I can phone the Philippines from Britain? When I phoned before it costed about 70p per minute.

Hi Johnny,I use Telediscount connection numbers to call abroad.I have the leaflet here and the number for the Philippines is 0871 999 7272 for landlines @ 10p per min and mobiles are 13p on 0911 922 9898. Hope that keeps your bill down.I used to call Jamaica @ 70p and now it costs me 13p!

Look into "Skype". Its free to call anyone. Cant get much cheaper than that. Download from skype.com, and either hook up a usb phone or use a headset.

Skype is only free if you 'phone' another pc.

To phone a landline in the philipines is 11.3p a minute.

Thanks for all your help. I've found an access number I can use where it is only 7p per minute to call the Philippines, but I'm concerned that there is a hidden catch or extra cost involved. Is anyone able to tell me if there are any hidden charges with the access numbers?
