What do you suppose are the chances of two Answerbank regulars actually knowing each other, even though they don't know they know each other? Wouldn't it be a spooky coincidence if the spellmaster and I worked in the same company, for example? Just a thought.

That's Spooky! I was considering posting a question very similar to this myself. I know i know one other user on the bank not a regular but calls in now and again, but it got me thinking could i know any others? I think it would become slowly evident if someone you knew was an answerbank user cause apart from talking about the topics on the site you would detect the similarity of opinions. I think a move to an Ebay system of points and a Me page would be very welcome AB Editor!! For the record if people want to know i'm 30 Male Scottish but live in Northern Ireland and am a musician. If anybody thinks they know me i'd be delighted to hear from them.
That's a really interesting thought. It just occurred to me (sad admission, I know) that there's possibly / probably a few different nationalities out there in Answerbank Land. Along with different interests and backgrounds. Mmmm....ok, sft42 set the ball rolling. Also for the record, I'm 31, Male, Scottish, who lives in Glasgow, also a musician.
good point!!!! i'm 28 scottish, still in scotland and user name not my real name!! ah-haaaaa
and male.

It's quite strange, though, to be in the majority on something like this, ie a site which has no obvious Scottish slant. Or perhaps the many thousands of English regulars are just keeping quiet . . .
