I read in the paper that civil partnership partners of knights will be allowed to call themselves "the honourable"

There was a radio report yesterday that stated the partners of knights would probably be styled as "The Honourable..." but a final decision's expected early in the New Year.

The Civil Partnership Act 2004 does not provide for a same sex partner to assume any title. Much the same as if a titled woman married a male commoner, he doesn't share her title either.
