I had a very rare treat this morning - a relaxing facial!

Floated out (with accompanying oily hair, as per usual) and came down to Earth with voting and taking Lib. books to a 92-yr. old, chairbound, lovely lady. (I collected her books on Tues. and changed them at the mobile Lib. yesterday.) Floating quite high again because she gave me a Christmas card and a box of chocolates. :)
Has tobe a nice day - even if we are under freezing water. :(

I remember sitting up with a friend to watch the election when Ted Heath got in. We drank 2 bottles of wind and her husband wasn't happy. (They divorced some years later.)
I'll get a clue on the 10 o'clock news, but will go to bed.

Yes I used to do a few allnighters with friends on election days - I'd even colour in the constituency maps that came with newspapers as each result came in. Pretty much only red, blue and orange though in those days.
