As a follow-up to my question about Lawrence, does anyone know the Arabic verion of Stephen (Steafan, Steffan, Staffan, Steven, Estevo, etc...)? This is the Greek version of Lawrence (from Latin 'Laurentius'), or 'he who is crowned with Laurels'.

You could have a look at www.behindthename.com but as it's a Greek name rather than Hebrew I'd say that unlike names like Solomon (Suleyman) or Mary (Maryam) there possibly isn't an Arabic version.
