When you have a police car behind you like you have done/are doing something wrong, even though you're not?

no, as I don't drive. But I do if they come into the Co op to be served as a customer, I go red and act all guilty!

I think everyone, well alright almost everyone, does. I always think that being aware of them there is going to make it more likley I'll make a mistake.
I do always, and then I have the worry not straying over the speed limit by a couple MPH. I keep looking at the speedo rather than keeping my eyes on the road lol.
Yep...they make me nervous.

I remember one time being in the pub. Something happened, I didn't have a clue what but a 999 call was made, I was sitting quietly having a drink with my mate when the police came in. One policeman took one look at me and came straight over and asked had I called them...
No, I suspect that people that do suffer mildy from a from of guilt complex. Just tell yourself "I have done nothing wrong and I WILL see the police as it's their job to be on the street" a few times before starting driving so you're not surprised by them when you see then in your mirror.

I get really nervous if the police are behind me on the road - don't know why. Also jump a mile if they appear at the house and send my husband to answer the door.
I haven't got a guilt complex...lol

I think it comes from a respect for authority and what was drummed into me as a child.
and the fact you look shifty ummmm

im joking!
I got pulled over for looking at a police car

Glad I'm not the only one!

Ummm, at least they asked if you were the one who called and not the one they were after. :)

I did get a nice feeling the other day when I drove past one of these set ups they sometimes do where they have a little camera hidden checking all the reg plates and 50ft up the road there are about 15 police cars waiting to pull over uninsured drivers etc. Gave me a nice smug feeling seeing the cars being towed away.

Pulled over for looking at one? Blimey! Do they want you to keep your eyes closed?
I live in london so it's very likely that there will always be police behind you, in front of and either side of you. :)
^And this is on a non rioting day^
they were parked on the opposite side of the road and I glanced over, next thing I know they were blues and twos behind me, they had to let me go as they had nothing to get me on ;)
I think you might be right BOO...
I don't drive either but I get quite conscious. Felt really dim yesterday as it seemed a good idea at the time to shove some loo paper in my damp and non-waterproof shoes to try and dry them off a bit after they'd got wet in the rain earlier...cue torrential downpour after work on the way back up through town which was crammed full of police after the riot and there's me with all this wierd grim white stuff spreading all over my shoes and the bottom of my work trousers...how not to stand out...duh!!!!
no, but I always check my speed!
I got pulled over by a police car when I was having a driving lesson (this was sometime ago).
