There must be something you're interested in!
Bird watching, dancing, football (playing or watching), reading, stamp collecting, learning a foreign language, knitting, baking, crossstitch, photography, real ales, walking, climbing, swimming, scuba diving, learning a musical instrument etc etc etc
What ever you fancy I'm sure there will be a group local to yourself to join in with, or to help you along.

Riding, flower arranging and bridge, or dancing, cooking and stamp collecting. The permutations are endless and of course, some will overlap into more than one category.
