I posted this in chatterbank, but hopefully I'll get more responses here.

Last night I had a very stressful dream: I dreamt that my ex called me and he said he wanted to talk things over (he has been refusing to speak to me for months). The line was fuzzy, so I said I'd call him back. But I was at my grandmother's house and the phone wasn't dialing properly (at some point in the dream the phone was too flat and squishy for me to push the buttons properly), so I spent hours trying to call him, with no success at all. I became increasingly upset until I woke up breathing fast and sweating. Any interpretations?

The line fuzzy,  at your grandmothers house  the phone wont dial.   It proably because you don't want to hear or are scared what your ex wants to say
I don't know but whenever I have a dream involving a phone, I can't manage to dial it properly either!
Maybe it's highlighting the fact that you have unresolved issues because possibly you never had proper closure with your relationship.Just a thought.

That's definitely true, Linda. No closure at all..... not even in my dreams, apparently! Wish I could get some!

How did you figure that out from my dream though?

Well,I was in a relationship once, that was very serious, but ended just like that, after a row. Never got a chance to talk it over or anything. For a long long time after,I kept dreaming that I met him in various places, and we got a chance to talk.Eventually,I realised that "closure" was the root problem! Have to say,I never did get it! But once I met someone else, the dreams stopped!

Oh, wouldn't that be nice :-)
Actually, now that you've discussed it,maybe you've confronted the issue!! Thanks for the stars!

Agree, definately "closure". I also think that the dream maybe preparing you for what to say when you 'run' into him (and it maybe soon) so that you are clear in what you want to say to him (not fuzzy)!
