I had a really scary dream last night. in short...

I was in a grubby, shabby hotel room. the windows wouldn't shut properly, and there was a building site right outside the window. the door had no lock, not even a handle. I was sitting on the bed, when it started moving violently. I jumped off but I knew it was a ghostie thing.

then I felt a hand running down my back, resting on the small of my back and I said (crying), "I know you're there, but I don't know who you are or what you want". and then a card flickered down from the ceiling, which said "the grim reaper".

holy crap! I've felt quite disturbed today.

any views? or have I just lost the plot?

I'm at work now, so will check back when I can.. don't get me sectioned, I'm fine really!!

Did you eat cheese before retiring?
Do you have a major change coming in your life that scares you... ?

Death often means the end of one life phase and the move to the next... and the dream would say that you are more concerned than you admit to yourself, and possibly as you have no lock etc it implies you feel you are threatened by the change and have no coping mechanism to deal with it...
Its just all the halloween hype getting into your subconscious.

Premier Inn?
If the dream recurs you need to act if not forget it
snags is right. If you eat cheese before going to bed then this will make you dream very badly.

I guess it depends how much you consume... stuffing a whole Camembert in your gob 5 minutes before you lie down could break your sleep pattern thus inducing a dream-like state ;-p

tinks, thanks.. top effort! not sure how much of it fits into my real life.. perhaps the grim reaper bit :-O

Rowan, if I dream the same thing again, I'm just never going to sleep again!!

and I don't eat cheese.. well, very rarely!

snags(h) ;o)
You may never dream it again if you do tray to take a bit of control back wwhere your probs are concerned,,, I think your subconscious has tapped into halloween imagery to create a dream to prompt you to think about your problems... processing what you've been seeing
No probs sara ill look up the others if u want!

I believe in dreams have meanings however if u can relate to anything u have had happen to you or spoke about etc etc etc in the past few days its not a "message" as such! Xx
