Where do you get decent lightweight towelling robes?Ones that don't look like dressing gowns or big white things that you nicked from a hotel. I see others at the swimming pool and on holiday wearing them and I've looked around and can't find any.I don't like to ask people in case they think I'm mad as if I should know.

trouble with M+s etc is that they are too good quality - not thin/lightweight

Marks and Bhs have fluffy dressing gowns and big white robes but nothing lighter and made of real 'towelling' material,I've found nothing on ebay either,plus I'd like to feel the material before I buy.

M&S do a new line of Dressing Gowns made like a fleece. Very lightweight but very warm

Fleecy ones are useless,as they are not absorbant like towelling material.

Well it's a towelling robe I want for putting on after swimming which gets you dry so I think absorbency is important.The fluffy ones are pretty useless for that.

Perhaps they did actually pinch them from a hotel, ganesh. Might be a bit difficult come to think of it, smuggling a large article like that out.

TK maxx have some really superb towelling robes - but if I saw someone wearing one I liked I wouldn't hesitate to ask where they bought it. They're not going to think you're mad. It's quite a compliment to them. Courage ganesh!! Go for it!!
