Boot Sales in Essex

Does anyone know of any good boot sales in the Essex area, is there a decent listings website for boot sales and do they tend to have a winter break or run through the year? Thankyou!!

Having never been to a boot sale...i cannot comment on the quality...i assume that cars with big boots are attractive features of a 'good' boot sale....However, on many occasions I have been snarled up in the traffic on approach to boot sales at sadlers farm roundabout on the A13 between basildon and benfleet...and on the A12 towards london opposite the junction for Springfield and chelmsford....Good luck with your bargain hunting!

there is a good one in ardleigh which is near Colchester, for that one you head towards clacton and you will see i sign for ardleigh if you head for that the boot sale will be sign posted.  also the chelmsford one coffers1 is on about is normally on in the nice weather ie not raining or anything so normally on spring/summer, it is very hilly over there.

I am aware that there is a Boot Sale in Southend on the Car Park of Southend Football pitch on Tuesday & Sundays (Mornings). I have not yet been though, but have been told that is good. All weathers !!!
