A friend of mine returned from holiday and gave me a bottle of Royal Falcon whisky, (plastic bottle, never heard of it before and generally nasty) it's been forgotten at the back of the drinks cabinet for a while, untill the other day while starting some sloe gin I began thinking about using this whisky in similar fashion as I'm to tight to throw it. So do any of you good people out there know any recipes to make a litre of cheap and nasty whisky palatable?

thanks for the prompt replies, the stuff is already in a glass bottle Eddie, but it still tastes quite nasty, the ginger sounds OK as I'm partial to the odd whisky mac on a winters night, by the way despite the user name I too am an Eddie/Ted just couldn't get the name I wanted so went with my middle name

that sounds a reasonable use for it Dixie, I can always tell people it's an old fashioned cough remedy, how much lemon do you recomend, and do you leave the lemon and cloves in it or decant and strain it after a couple of months?
no matter how cheap a whisky it is it will get better with age, the longer the better. Leave it in the dark for a year or so and try again
