When an item is selling "with or without tags" What are Tags

it's usually the paper/card price/swing tag, suggesting the item is unworn.

the original shop's tags........they are usually removed by ebay sellers so that you can't take them back to a shop for a refund........

They are usually left on by eBay sellers to prove they are new and unworn.

now why would I fight with barry...........all I can say is that in the past I have bought clothes with the tags removed and the seller has stated that the reason is to prevent shop refunds.......and I've been quite confident that the clothes were indeed new and unworn.....

Most sellers / buyers want the tags kept on, as it proves for certain that the item is new / unworn / authentic. Why would the seller not want you to return the item to a shop?
