Where can i buy ping-pong balls?

Wanting to buy quite a few ping-pong balls, but just occurred to me i have no idea where sells them?
Any shop names would be greatly appreciated- although can't be an online store as i need them for Friday.

local sports shops for a start. maybe even large supermarkets with summer and sports equipment

Depends whether you want ping pong balls or good 3* tournament standard balls......

if you fly to thailand and go to a strip joint and just catch the ones that are projected towards you. a tad expensive but much mre fun

As Craft's post suggests, there's a big difference between the quality (and the price) of 1 star practice balls and 3 star tournament ones.

I'm guessing that 'practice quality' will suffice for your needs. If so, the larger branches of Argos ('Argos Extra') will sell you a pack of 12 for just �2.89. (Order code 070/4193).

wow- thanks guys!! Some helpful & entertaining replies.

The quality of the ball isn't really a concern- they're to play 'Beer pong' with at our party on Friday :)
So basically as long as they can bounce into plastic cups filled with alcohol, then they've fulfilled their job!

So on that note i don't think balls acquired from a ping-pong show in Bangkok would be 'clean' enough to use... but wow what a skill to have hey!!
