why are plastic clothes pegs so rubbish?

I always use the wooden type zzxxee - Woolworth used to sell lovely jumbo sized wooden ones.

I prefer the plastic to the wooden ones. The wooden ones go funny if you accidently leave them outside and it rains... I've just realised how rock and roll my life truly is.

Hi zzxxee, I'm not sure where you can get wooden pegs from, sorry. Just please tell me your pegs are all the same colour - or at the very least, two of the same colour per item of clothing.
