ceramic kitchen compost crock

anyone know any high street stores that sell these? i want to physically see one before i commit to buying one online.

I can't see the point of them. I have an old plastic tub in the garage with a tight fitting lid - it originally held chicken manure pellets. I put my compostable waste in that and empty it in to the compost bin once or twice a week - more often in hot weather.

its a gift for my parents, who currently use a plastic tub and i want to give them something that i know they will use and appreciate.

I have seen them in Wilkinsons and another High Street store....where was it? Could have been the Co-op
