Please - does anyone know where we can buy Dreft suitable for handwashing? It's for an old lady we know who wants to replace her nearly empty carton. We've tried quite a few of the supermarkets and I've searched online without success so far.......then I remembered AB!

Have you tried Waitrose? I suggest you telephone before you set out, but I am pretty certain they sell it.

Thanks Ethel - we don't have a Waitrose within 20 miles, but a good suggestion. My husband has rung Tesco and they have some and have put 3 cartons on one side for him.

This is not an answer. I have a feeling since this post was started that Dreft hanwash detergent powder has become even more difficult to obtain. Anyone else have any opinions on this. Have seen boxes avialable on E-bay! but at a price.
