At what age did you stop getting a christmas stocking

I stopped getting a stocking when I was about 16, my boyfriend is 31 (still lives at home) and he confessed this morning that his mum and dad still do him a stocking...I thought it was hilarious! Do you still get a stocking???

When I turn up at my parents' house on Christmas morning I WANT my pressies in my big felt stocking.

I can imagine Daddy in the loft this weekend, desparately trying to find where they put it.

i still get a selectioin box and before i moved abroad my old mum still used to stick a tangerine and somesweets and 50p in a stocking

10 i think, my mam used to use pillowcases instead of stockings.

yeah my son is 17 i will still do him a stocking even if he was 30 i would still do one ..

I've had one every year unti this year, filled with little bits and pieces like travel hairbrush, some sweets, a lipstick... (I'm 33).. and the only reason i wont get one this year, is my mum is out of the country for Christmas this year for the first time. (So Santa wont know where to find me..)

i never ever had a Christmas stocking or even an Advent calendar in my whole life from my parents... i guess my parents werent into that kinda stuff. just presants under the tree thats it!

i remember getting an advent calendar from my primary school teacher! :) oh i remember making a Cracker!!
gees this sounds like almost 20 yrs ago!! :-(

i never got a stocking, but my husband did right up until he left home at 24, so a couple of years ago we got matching stockings with our names on and now we budget an extra �20 for silly stocking filler gifts. (mostly chocolates and clockwork toys from Hawkins) We get up on Christmas morning and sit up in bed opening our stockings, then get dressed and have breakfast before being allowed to open our main presents. I quite like my stocking, i wish i'd gotten one as a child.
