Shopping Places In Essex or Close

Does anyone know any nice places for a bit of shopping in Essex?

I'm not talking Lakside, Basildon or Southend..I recently went to Bury which was lovely...I know it's not Essex, so I'm open to suggestions and recomendations...

Chelmsford, Romford, errr that's all I can think of right now!

Colchester has a fairly good selection of shops including several nice smaller independent outlets just off the high street.

there is also freeport at Braintree which is pretty good for clothes.

depends what sort of shopping you want really. For little independants in a small town then ive been told Clare is nice

I live in Essex Rascal too... a couple of weeks ago me and my partner went to Brighton, to shop round the Lanes there... it was much much nicer than walking round the "town centres" as such. It took us about 1hour 10 mins to get there from Southend :)

Hi MissChatty, yeah I LOVE Brighton too, go there quite frequently too, really straight forward drive isn't it.

Would move there if I had the money he he :)
