Saw another manager, he was no problem, took the cleaner and said their workshop would have a look and let me know. Couldn't understand why the other manager didn't do this last week.

6 months is the time limit the law states on assumed 'inherent defect' so you have to 'mind it' if you are relying on the law to help you.
